This is the hotel from the crime drama film Scarface (1983).

It is located at 728 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, Florida.

This is the location where the infamous chainsaw scene was filmed.

Scarface hotel — A "then and now" image of the Sunray apartments.

These days, the building is home to a CVS store. In the not-so-distant past, it was a Johnny Rockets franchise.

At the start of the film, Tony Montana and his crew visit the Sunray Hotel to purchase drugs from a Colombian gang.

Tony Montana's gang — "The money stays in the trunk until I come out. Me, nobody else. If I'm not out in 15 minutes, something's wrong. OK? Room 9."

Tony and Angel quickly find out that the meeting is a setup, as the dealers have no interest in doing business with them. Instead, they would much rather steal their money.

The Colombians in Scarface — Tony and Angel are ambushed and held at gunpoint.

The Colombians try to persuade them to give up the cash by threatening them with a chainsaw. Tony, however, stubbornly refuses to give in to their demands.

Realizing that they need to set an example, the gang chains Angel to a shower railing and dismembers him with the chainsaw.

Chainsaw scene — "Watch what happens to your friend. If you don't want this to happen to you, you give me the money, OK?"

Of course, none of this would have happened had Tony's friend, Manny, kept watch instead of flirting with a passing blonde.

A woman in a bikini causes Manny Ribera to become distracted.

Fortunately for Tony, the woman leaves, and Manny finally notices that the 15 minutes are up.

After entering the hotel with a machine gun, he realizes that the meeting was a setup and opens fire on the Colombians.

Tony's crew eventually gains the upper hand in the ensuing gunfight. Once all of the Colombians have been wiped out, they take the drugs and make a quick getaway.
