In 1981, the "town bully," Ken McElroy, was killed outside the D&G Tavern in Skidmore, Missouri.
Although more than 40 people witnessed the killing, nobody came forward to identify the shooters.
The murder remains unsolved to this day.
Waterford City, Waterford, Ireland
The street where Imelda Keenan was last seen
Imelda Keenan disappeared from this street in Waterford City at some point between late 1993 and early 1994.
To this day, the 22-year-old remains listed as a missing person.
Ballsbridge, Dublin, Ireland
The location where Trevor Deely went missing
On December 8, 2000, a CCTV camera captured Trevor Deely walking past this location on Haddington Road in Dublin.
Since then, there have been no sightings of the 22-year-old.
Vail, Colorado
The parking lot where Ted Bundy abducted Julie Cunningham
In March 1975, serial killer Ted Bundy abducted Julie Cunningham from this parking lot in Vail, Colorado.
Her remains have never been found.
Midlothian, Texas
The church where Missy Bevers was murdered
Fitness instructor Missy Bevers was murdered at this church in Midlothian, Texas, in the early hours of April 18, 2016.
Her case remains unsolved.

Jennifer Kesse's condo
On January 24, 2006, 24-year-old Jennifer Kesse was abducted after she left this condo in the Millenia neighborhood of Orlando, Florida.
Her case remains unsolved.

The school where Ted Bundy abducted Lynette Culver
This is the school where serial killer Ted Bundy abducted 12-year-old Lynette Dawn Culver.
Pocatello, Idaho
The hotel where Ted Bundy murdered Lynette Culver
On May 5, 1975, serial killer Ted Bundy abducted 12-year-old Lynette Culver from her school in Pocatello, Idaho.
Shortly afterward, he murdered her at this hotel on Bench Road.
Bloomfield Township, Michigan
The restaurant where Jimmy Hoffa was last seen
In July 1975, union leader Jimmy Hoffa disappeared after traveling to this restaurant in the northern suburbs of Detroit.
Investigators believe individuals linked to the Mafia picked him up there and killed him nearby.
His final resting place remains unknown.
Atlantic City, New Jersey
The Eastbound Strangler site
In November 2006, four women were found murdered in a drainage ditch at this location in Atlantic City.
To this day, their killer remains unidentified.
Manhattan, New York
The restaurant where Joe Gallo was killed
On April 7, 1972, three gunmen killed mobster Joe Gallo at this restaurant on Mulberry Street in Little Italy.
It is believed the Colombo family carried out the hit.
Provo, Utah
The campus where Ted Bundy abducted Susan Curtis
In June 1975, serial killer Ted Bundy abducted 15-year-old Susan Curtis from this college campus in Provo, Utah.
Although Bundy provided investigators with a description of the area where he buried her remains, a subsequent search failed to locate anything of note.
Los Angeles, California
The street where The Notorious B.I.G. was killed
In the early hours of March 9, 1997, an unidentified gunman shot and killed The Notorious B.I.G. at this intersection in Los Angeles, California.
Salt Lake City, Utah
Nancy Wilcox's house
In October 1974, serial killer Ted Bundy abducted high school student Nancy Wilcox shortly after she left this house in Salt Lake City.
Her remains have never been found.
Olympia, Washington
Donna Gail Manson's dorm
In March 1974, serial killer Ted Bundy abducted 19-year-old Donna Gail Manson after she left this dorm building on the Evergreen State College campus in Olympia.
To this day, she remains listed as a missing person.
Grand Junction, Colorado
The bridge where Denise Lynn Oliverson was abducted
In April 1975, serial killer Ted Bundy abducted Denise Lynn Oliverson near this bridge in Grand Junction.
Her remains have never been found.
Seattle, Washington
The alley where Ted Bundy abducted Georgann Hawkins
On June 11, 1974, serial killer Ted Bundy abducted 18-year-old college student Georgann Hawkins from this alleyway in Seattle. Her body has never been found.
Rathfarnham, Dublin, Ireland
Philip Cairns' house
In October 1986, Philip Cairns left this house on Ballyroan Road and was never seen again.
His case remains unsolved to this day.
Tacoma, Washington
The house where Ann Marie Burr was abducted
In August 1961, 8-year-old Ann Marie Burr disappeared from this house in Tacoma, Washington.
She has not been seen since.
Moone, Kildare, Ireland
The phone box where Jo Jo Dullard was last seen
The last sighting of Josephine "Jo Jo" Dullard occurred at this location in Moone in November 1995.
Investigators believed her killer picked her up on the street while she was hitchhiking home.
Broadway, Wexford, Ireland
Fiona Sinnott's house
Fiona Sinnott disappeared after a night out with her friends in February 1998.
At the time of her disappearance, the 19-year-old was living in this rural cottage near Broadway, County Wexford.
Harlem, New York
The street where Big L was killed
In February 1999, a gunman shot up-and-coming rapper "Big L" outside 45 West 139th Street in Harlem.
His murder remains unsolved.
Albuquerque, New Mexico
The West Mesa Murders burial site
In February 2009, the skeletal remains of 11 women and one unborn baby were discovered at this burial site in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The women are believed to be the victims of an unidentified serial killer called the West Mesa Bone Collector.
Benicia, California
The Lake Herman Road murder site
In December 1968, high school students Betty Lou Jensen and David Faraday were shot dead by the Zodiac Killer at this site on the northern outskirts of Benicia, California.
The case remains unsolved to this day.
Vallejo, California
The Blue Rock Springs murder site
In July 1969, the Zodiac Killer shot Darlene Ferrin and Michael Mageau in this parking lot beside Blue Rock Springs Park in Vallejo.
Michael survived the attack, while Darlene passed away from her injuries.

Arthur Leigh Allen's house
Arthur Leigh Allen is a potential suspect in the Zodiac Killer case.
When the murders first began, he was living with his parents at this house on Fresno Street in Vallejo.
Vallejo, California
The location where the Zodiac Killer reported the Blue Rock Springs shooting
Following the Blue Rock Springs shooting, the Zodiac Killer called the police from this location on Tuolumne Street.
During the call, he claimed responsibility for the crime. He also stated that he had previously murdered Betty Lou Jensen and David Faraday.
Napa, California
The Lake Berryessa murder site
In September 1969, the Zodiac Killer stabbed Bryan Hartnell and Cecelia Shepard while they were relaxing on this island beside Lake Berryessa.
Hartnell survived the attack. Shepard succumbed to her wounds two days later.
San Francisco, California
The street where the Zodiac Killer shot Paul Stine
This is the location where the Zodiac Killer shot taxi driver Paul Stine.
It is situated on Washington Street in the Presidio Heights neighborhood of San Francisco.
Glenageary, Dublin, Ireland
The alley where Raonaid Murray was murdered
In September 1999, an unidentified killer stabbed 17-year-old Raonaid Murray in this alley in Glenageary, Dublin.
Her unsolved murder remains one of Ireland's most infamous cold cases.
West Des Moines, Iowa
Johnny Gosch's house
On September 5, 1982, Johnny Gosch left this house in West Des Moines to deliver newspapers.
Shortly afterward, the 12-year-old vanished without a trace.
Mason City, Iowa
The apartment lot where Jodi Huisentruit was abducted
In June 1995, news anchor Jodi Huisentruit was abducted from this apartment complex in Mason City, Iowa.
Her case is still unsolved.
Little Rock, Arkansas
The location where Ebby Steppach was found dead
In October 2015, Ebby Steppach's car was abandoned in this parking lot in Little Rock, Arkansas. Three years later, her skeletal remains were found in a nearby drainage pipe.
Although her death has been classified as a homicide, the case remains unsolved.
Lubbock, Texas
The house where Deborah Sue Williamson was murdered
Deborah Sue Williamson was stabbed to death outside this house in Lubbock, Texas, in August 1975.
Her murder remains unsolved.
Comanche, Oklahoma
The house where Mary Pewitt was murdered
In June 1988, 25-year-old Mary Pewitt was stabbed 30 times at this house on South 10th Street in Comanche.
The young mother's murder remains unsolved to this day.
