The school where Ted Bundy abducted Lynette Culver

This is the school where serial killer Ted Bundy abducted 12-year-old Lynette Dawn Culver.

At the time, it was called Alameda Junior High School. These days, it is known as Alameda Middle School.

At around noon on May 6, 1975, Bundy parked his Volkswagen Bug in the area. After noticing Culver walking by herself, he struck up a conversation with the young girl and somehow managed to lure her into his vehicle.

At that point, he drove back to his hotel room at the Holiday Inn, where he later drowned her in the bathtub.

Bundy claimed that he dumped Culver's remains in the Snake River, which is north of Pocatello. Sadly, her body has never been found.

To this day, she remains listed as a missing person.
