Jennifer Kesse's condo
Jennifer Kesse's former condo is located in the Mosaic at Millenia complex at 3735 Conroy Road in Orlando, Florida.
The 24-year-old finance manager was last seen on January 23, 2006.
Investigators believe she was abducted early the next morning while walking to her vehicle.

Disappearance
Kesse was reported missing later that morning after she failed to arrive for work. Her employer alerted her parents, who drove to the complex and contacted police.

An investigation of the residence indicated she got ready for work and left her condo.
Her black Chevrolet Malibu was missing, and there were no signs of a struggle or forced entry.
The front door was locked, the shower was wet, her contact lenses were gone, and her pajamas were on the bathroom floor.

Several of her belongings were also absent, including her brown purse, iPod, Verizon LG cellphone, work briefcase, and driver's license.
Shortly before her disappearance, Kesse and her boyfriend went on vacation to St. Croix in the Caribbean. Her brother Logan and his friends stayed at her condo while she was away. When they left, one of them mistakenly left his phone behind.
The device was also unaccounted for, suggesting Kesse took it with her and planned to mail it later that day.
Discovery of car
Two days later, on January 26, 2006, Kesse's car was found in the parking lot of the Huntington Green Court apartment complex on Texas Avenue.

While initial public reports stated there were no signs of a struggle, subsequent releases of internal police documents indicated someone may have been pushed across the hood of the vehicle.
Investigators also discovered a large boot print on the floorboard near the gas pedal. The print was too big to belong to Kesse and resembled a heavy work or hiking boot.
A woman reported seeing a car matching Kesse's Chevrolet exiting Mosaic at Millenia at approximately 7:30 a.m. on the day she disappeared. According to the witness, it was driving erratically and the two occupants appeared to be fighting for control of the steering wheel.

Security footage
Although Huntington Green Court had a security camera system, it was outdated and only recorded black-and-white stills in three-second intervals.
The footage showed someone parking Kesse's vehicle in the visitors section of the lot at approximately noon.
After 30 seconds, the individual exited the Chevrolet and walked along a metal fence by the swimming pool.

The person of interest walked off the premises before heading south along Downing Street.
In what police described as an "agonizing stroke of luck" for the suspect, the spaced metal bars obscured their face in every frame.

The FBI estimated the person of interest to be between 5'3" and 5'5" tall. Observers noted that he appeared to be wearing workman's or painter's clothes.
Mosaic at Millenia
The prevailing theory among law enforcement is that Kesse was abducted outside her residence. The property management company was refurbishing the building's apartments and selling them as condos, leaving nearly half of the units vacant.

Kesse's parents said their daughter had previously complained about some of the contract workers, who made her feel uncomfortable by repeatedly stopping to stare at her. These men occupied some of the empty units on-site and were reportedly "difficult to trace."
The direction the suspect traveled was also significant. After exiting the vehicle, the individual proceeded south, which is the route someone would take to return to the condominiums.
Following the discovery of the car, a bloodhound from the sheriff's department successfully tracked a scent from the apartment complex back to Mosaic at Millenia.

In 2019, Kesse's family gained access to many of the police files. During an interview with the Fox News podcast "House of Broken Dreams," her father, Drew, spoke about police photos of the hood of the car:
"It looked like someone was thrown down on the top of the hood, arms spread out and then dragged back almost like off the hood to the point where you could almost see fingers scribbling down the hood."
When the family spoke to one of the former lead detectives about the photos, he reportedly said, "That's your crime scene."
No trace of Kesse has ever been found. Ten years after her disappearance, she was legally declared dead.
In 2025, it was announced that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) had discovered DNA on evidence that had never been tested. The tests, which used new technology, allowed investigators to narrow their list of persons of interest down to "just a few people."
