Gary Coleman's house
Celebrity House in Santaquin, Utah
This is the house where actor Gary Coleman suffered the fatal injury that led to his death.
It is located at 892 E 550 S in Santaquin, Utah.
Coleman was best known for portraying the character Arnold Jackson in the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes between 1978 and 1986. He also made a number of cameo appearances on TV shows such as The Simpsons, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Drake & Josh.
Unfortunately, like many child actors, he failed to achieve the same level of success as an adult. Although he was eager to leave Diff'rent Strokes behind and move on with his career, he had been heavily typecast as the little boy who asked, "Whatcha talkin' 'bout, Willis?"
During the 1990s, he struggled with financial, legal, and health issues relating to his growth deficiency.
In August 1999, he was forced to file for bankruptcy protection.
Coleman lived at this address with his wife, Shannon Price, whom he met on the set of the sports comedy film Church Ball (2006).
The couple divorced in 2008, after a few months of marriage. However, they continued living together until his death.
On Wednesday, May 26th, 2010, Coleman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after he fell down the stairs at this house and suffered a head injury. At the time, he had been experiencing seizures, which may have led to the fall.
The accident caused an epidural hematoma (EDH), which is when bleeding occurs between the skull and the brain.
The following day, his condition worsened, and he lost consciousness.
On May 28th, 2010, Coleman died at the age of 42 after Price gave the hospital permission to take him off life support.
An investigation ruled that his death was accidental.
Despite their 2008 divorce, Price attempted to take ownership of Coleman's estate by claiming that she was his common-law wife. However, a judge ruled against her in May 2012 after the court heard testimony that she was physically abusive towards him and had an open relationship with another man.
The final nail in Price's case was a restraining order that Coleman had obtained against her in the months before his death.
In the end, Coleman's estate was awarded to his friend and business associate, Anna Gray, whom he had named in his 2005 will.
His estate, however, had very little money left. As a result, the mortgage on this house fell into arrears, and the bank eventually foreclosed on the property.

In December 2023, Zillow estimated that it was worth nearly $700,000.
The house was in poor shape when the actor died. Dirty laundry, adult diapers, and garbage littered the rooms, and there were blood stains in the kitchen.
Although it was summer, two decorated Christmas trees were still standing in the living room.
The house also lacked furniture, as Coleman spent most of his money on medical bills.
Shannon Price
Price failed to win ownership of Coleman's estate.
Following the actor's death, tabloid magazines accused her of pushing him down the stairs.
