This is the parking lot where serial killer Dennis Rader left the Otero family car.

After murdering four members of the Otero family, Dennis Rader drove their family car over to Dillons at 4801 East Central Ave.

The car in question was a tan-colored Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser wagon.

Although Rader never specified where he parked his own vehicle that day, it is very likely that it was within walking distance of the grocery store.

That day, a witness saw a man leaving the car in this parking lot.

According to this witness, the man in question looked extremely nervous. So much so, in fact, that he was visibly shaking.

The Otero family murders were BTK's first known murders. As a result, it is likely that he felt panicked during the crime.
