Los Pollos Hermanos: Filming Location

This is Los Pollos Hermanos from the crime drama series Breaking Bad.

It is located at 4275 Isleta Boulevard SW in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In the show, Los Pollos Hermanos is a fried chicken restaurant that serves as a front for a powerful narcotics distributor named Gus Fring. However, in real life, the building belongs to Twisters, a regional fast-food chain that specializes in burgers and burritos.

Fring uses his fast food chain to transport cocaine and methamphetamine into the United States. It also allows him to present himself as a local businessman.

Twisters in Albuquerque

This location makes its first appearance in Season 2, when Walter White and Jesse Pinkman visit Los Pollos Hermanos to meet an unidentified buyer who is interested in purchasing their meth.

Unbeknownst to them (and the viewer), the buyer is actually Fring, the friendly man who owns and manages the restaurant.

While the pair are waiting for the buyer to arrive, Fring approaches their table and asks, "Gentlemen, is everything to your satisfaction?" During this short exchange, he notices that Pinkman is high.

Fring is an extremely cautious man who refuses to do business with people who abuse drugs. As a result, he immediately decides against revealing his true identity.

Later in the same episode, Walter begins to suspect that the buyer was the manager who had approached them at Los Pollos Hermanos.

Walter returns to the restaurant and asks Fring for five minutes of his time. At first, Fring feigns confusion and refuses to admit that he is the buyer. However, he eventually lets his mask slip after Walter claims that they are both alike.

This comparison insults Fring so much that his smile immediately fades away.

He then states:

"I don't think we are alike at all, Mr. White. You are not a cautious man at all. Your partner was late, and he was high."

Walter defends himself by explaining that he trusts Pinkman. He also tells Fring that he will never have to interact with his partner.

Despite these assurances, Fring stands up without saying anything and begins to walk away. However, before he leaves, Walter asks, "Will I hear from you?"

At that point, Fring turns around, smiles, and replies, "I have your numbers."
