The Palace Arcade in the episode MADMAX (S2E1)
Will's mother drops him off because she doesn't want him cycling at night.

During the scene, an arcade employee called Keith informs Dustin that an unidentified player called MADMAX has beaten his high scores.

Shocked that someone achieved such a high score, they start badgering Keith to reveal the person's identity.

However, he tells them that he won't give them any information unless Mike agrees to set him up on a date with his sister, Nancy.

Mike refuses to agree to the deal, arguing that he will not "prostitute" his sister.

While the group is arguing with Keith, Will wanders off and begins to hallucinate that he is still in the "Upside Down" dimension.

In the vision, the sky above Hawkins is on fire, and the arcade is dark and empty.

Moments later, he snaps back into reality after Mike follows him outside and asks him if he is okay.
