On April 11th, 2011, the police discovered the arms and legs of an unidentified woman called "Peaches" at this site in Jones Beach State Park.
In April 2025, the victim was identified as Tanya Denise Jackson.

Tatiana was discovered at a site that is east of Overlook Beach. She was found just 250 feet away from the partial remains of a sex worker named Valerie Mack, whose torso had been dumped in Manorville in 2000. Police markers on the roadside indicate that the killer, or killers, stopped within 180 feet of each other. The victims' remains were dumped in the same general area, roughly three years apart.
