When the band's lead singer, Kevin Rowland, sees his love interest, Eileen, walking by, he attempts to talk to her. However, she gives him the cold shoulder and keeps going.

Come On Eileen
Eileen was portrayed by Máire Fahey, who is the sister of singer Siobhan Fahey (Shakespears Sister and Bananarama).

Rowland's pursuit of Eileen is eventually successful.

At the end, Eileen joins him outside the shop. After putting their arms around each other, they walk off together, heading east along Brook Drive.
