Rex Heuermann's storage unit
This is the former storage unit of suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann.
It is called Omega Self Storage, and it is located at 185 Sunrise Highway in Amityville, New York.
The authorities raided the property on July 17th, 2023, roughly four days after his arrest.
It is unclear when Heuermann began renting the unit.
During the search, investigators found thousands of documents. One of the documents was a Bank of America credit card statement from July 2007, which proved that his wife and children had been out of town when Gilgo Beach victim Maureen Brainard-Barnes went missing.
It is currently unknown what else was discovered.
