The Sheraton Colony Square Hotel.
That night, Shakur and his entourage were staying at the Sheraton Colony Square Hotel, which was situated at 188 14th Street in Atlanta. These days, it is called The Spa at Hotel Midtown. The Whitwell brothers and their wives had been drinking at the hotel shortly before the incident occurred. Bystanders said that the two men were noticeably intoxicated. The confrontation started after a passing motorist nearly hit the group while they were crossing the street.
