Crime Location in Fire Island, New York

In April 1996, the severed legs of suspected LISK victim Karen Vergata were discovered on Blue Point Beach on Fire Island.

Vergata remained unidentified for 26 years, during which she was nicknamed Fire Island Jane Doe.
