La Cage Aux Folles

This is the bar where serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer met his fifth victim, Anthony Sears.

It is located at 801 South 2nd Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In 1989, it was a gay bar called La Cage Aux Folles. These days, it is known as LaCage NiteClub.

On March 25, 1989, Dahmer met Sears at the bar and lured him back to his grandmother's home in West Allis.

Later that night, he drugged Sears and strangled him to death. Afterward, he dismembered his remains and preserved his skull and genitals.

When Dahmer served a one-year jail sentence for sexual assault, he reportedly kept Sears' remains in a locker at the factory where he worked.

In May 1990, he moved out of his grandmother's house and started living at the Oxford Apartments.

During the move, he took Sears' skull with him.

The missing man's skull was later discovered in Dahmer's closet following his arrest in July 1991. Police reports said he had painted it gray.

The coroner's office was able to identify the remains using dental records.
